Here's a fun little art trade between myself and @hyperactiveparanoid!
.
I drew their svelte n' sexy centaur character Kadjar (y'all know I have a thing for svelte n' sexy centaurs by now I hope) and I was absolutely honored when they suggested I draw him with my character Lydian—you know you've really Made It™ when people request you to draw your own characters. Seeing as both of them are musicians who play the lyre (I'd call them "lyricists" if it didn't already mean something else), this scene depicts Kadjar sharing some of his original compositions with Lydian, who, while intrigued, is somewhat perplexed by the centaur's more unique passages. Seeing as Lydian is something of a child prodigy when it comes to music, though, I'm certain he'll master Kadjar's compositions sooner rather than later!

@hyperactiveparanoid drew my characters Zeo and Calvin and I'm very pleased with the direction they took with the piece! While both boys are advocates for social justice, Zeo is much more aggressive about it than Calvin, frequently attending protests and never hesitating to get in the face of someone he believes has done wrong. Calvin, on the other hand, prefers a more organized approach to solving the world's problems, choosing to operate within the systems in place to improve them from the inside out. That being said, their ideologies are very much in alignment with each other's; both are willing to meet in the middle when it means getting a job done efficiently. I think @hyperactiveparanoid captured this dynamic so well in their drawing! Thanks, @hyperactiveparanoid!
