Commission: Happy Birthday, @blessedpookie!

Wishing the happiest of (belated) birthdays to one of the dearest friends I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, @blessedpookie (IG)! I was both honored and excited to get to work when she commissioned this little anime-style portrait of herself to celebrate the occasion 🎂

Being the big Misato Katsuragi fans that @blessedpookie and I are, I of course took inspiration from the iconic, violet-haired vixen when drawing this—but a lot of said inspiration came from just how iconic @blessedpookie is herself! I hope you have the most joyous of birthday weeks, @blessedpookie! I can't wait until we can celebrate together in person, but in the meantime: here's to you! 🥂
