Into the Blue (for @xiaobigjie)

A MerMay gift for my friend and fellow artist @xiaobigjie, featuring their character John and a fishy little companion 🧜‍♂️ It's good to see that John wound up making it into the water after his fateful transformation into a merman! I'm sure he much prefers his life of freedom in the deep blue to the demanding and dangerous life he once led as a soldier. Not familiar with his story?
