MerMay 2020 Art Trade: @glorydoodles

An art trade with @glorydoodles (@themermaidglory) on Instagram, featuring herself in her truest of blue attire all the way from the locks of her hair to the tips of her fins! I have to say: her coloration and accessories were some of my favorite combinations to draw among any of the mers I've ever put to pen... I guess blue and yellow is just a winning color scheme (no wonder I've considered moving to Sweden 🇸🇪 so many times... and I'm Danish! 🤯 ...I blame IKEA). @glorydoodles drew my character Her Munificence, Queen Mirias II from my High Fantasy project (her full title is R E Q U I R E D whenever addressing her... but her friends just call her Mirias), and I absolutely love how she captured her in one of her more somber, introspective moments—even if she's a Queen remembered for her pomp and glamour, as a tried and trained warrior, she's seen her fair share of warfare and is no stranger to making hard decisions.
