Before his transformation into a hunky devilman, Akira Fudo made one helluva cute kid. It's a crying shame (get it? "crybaby"? haha) that the story couldn't play out in a way that maintained the more idyllic moments from Akira's childhood, but if you swipe through you'll find an AU I devised where Akira is a centaur (why not, right?), Psycho Jenny tries her hand at being a regular mom, and everything turns out all right in the end. It probably wouldn't be anywhere near as gripping or meaningful as the canon narrative, but I'm confident it would involve a lot less sobbing in front of the TV. 🙃
