Mermay 2019: Celeste

Trainer Celeste wants to battle! Which Pokémon will you choose to go head-to-head against her mighty Vaporeon? Whatever your choice may be, make sure it's super effective!

Theatrics aside, one thing I've always loved about the Pokémon universe is brainstorming the ideal team of six Pokémon that would be my best friends (...in this world we must defend!! 🎶). But of course I never make my selections based on type or skills⁠⁠—instead, my team would be comprised solely of the Pokémon I find most aesthetically appealing. Catch me at the Saffron City Gym with my level 100 Jigglypuff, my Starmie with a drag-inspired nickname, my Espeon whom I never use in battle because I don't want to overexert her, and my three pet Gastlies because, dammit, I just think they're cute. I'm not sure how well I'd fare against Mermaid Celeste's Pokémon team, but I'd definitely be willing to arrange playdates for her Vaporeon and my Espeon!
