MerMay 2020: Thanks (For All the Fish)!

With MerMay coming to a close, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank y'all for your support, enthusiasm, and passion for all things mer this past month—it's truly been a mermazing MerMay! It's no secret that this is one of my favorite art events of the year because, not only is it an excuse to draw one of my favorite subjects all month long without it feeling gratuitous, but also an opportunity to bond with a whole school (🐠) of like-minded artists, performers, and enthusiasts congregating over something that adds just a little bit of whimsy to a world that's so often lacking in it. Even though MerMay is ending, fret not, mer-lovers: y'all already know I'm not going to stop drawing merfolk any time soon—there'll be plenty more finny fun (can you name that tune?) to be had in the coming weeks! In the meantime, thanks again for making this MerMay a splash. I'll see y'all in Pride Month! (Yeah, tomorrow.)
