Mermay 2019: Tristan

Swimming right along with my pin-up series for MerMay 2019, this one featuring the thoroughly theatrical Red River Merman, Tristan! To be a good performer requires a careful mix of several things: talent, skill, flexibility (in all senses of the word), and, most importantly, confidence—suffice to say, Tristan checks every box. His passion for mermaiding (mermanning? mer-ing?) shines through in everything he does, from his meticulous costuming to the spirited photos he takes, and he even shares his passion with others by offering swimming lessons and performing at events like birthdays and holidays. And, like many of the other mers I know, he's an outspoken supporter of the arts and artists of all talents. Why not return the favor and go show him some support in kind?
